Researching Richard Eurich
Richard Eurich was one of the most original British artists of the twentieth century, and stands apart from a brilliant generation of fellow artists by dint of his humour, his compassion for the human condition, and above all for his exceptional imagination. As a figurative artist of outstanding ability, he holds his own with the best that the twentieth century had to offer.
Christine Clearkin, co-author of the critically well-received book, Richard Eurich (1903-1992) Visionary Artist (2003), is currently working upon a catalogue raisonne of the artist’s work with a view to publication in late 2012.
